Atal Tinkering Lab
Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) are initiatives launched by the Government of India under the Atal Innovation Mission. Their goal is to foster creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills among students, primarily in grades 6 to 12.
Here are some key features:
Hands-on Learning: ATLs provide a space for students to engage in hands-on activities, enabling them to explore and create using tools and technologies.
Focus on STEM: The labs emphasize science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education, encouraging students to design and prototype projects.
Mentorship and Collaboration: ATLs often involve mentors from various fields and encourage collaboration among students, promoting teamwork and sharing of ideas.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: The labs aim to develop an entrepreneurial mindset by encouraging students to identify problems and devise innovative solutions.
Community Engagement: Many ATLs engage with the local community, allowing students to work on real-world problems and contribute positively.
These labs are part of a broader effort to enhance innovation and entrepreneurship among the youth in India.
